TITLE: “WHEELS OF FIRE”
PRESSING: 1968 Original “FIRST” Pressing STEREO 2LP Set with a pristine “Foil-like” cover!
CATALOG #: ATCO SD 2-700
LABELS: Super clean “Purple and Tan” labels.
Comments: Extremely RARE double vinyl LP to locate in superb condition!!

COVER: NrMT
Comments: Super clean “gatefold” foil-like cover with the original “shrink wrap” completely intact! The cover displays sharp vivid “silver and black” colors with virtually No ring wear beneath the shrink, No marks or writing, No stains or creases, No seam splits, No cut out marks, and No discount holes or bar codes. The upper left and lower right corners are lightly bumped (see photograph) and is mentioned for accuracy. This is about as clean a cover one could expect to locate for this release, the final upgrade for your collection!
VINYL: Sides 1 / 2 NrMT to NrMT+ Sides 3 / 4 NrMT-
Comments: Full original gloss “Thick” vinyl records with a few minor rubs and insignificant faint hairlines (No scratches), mainly seen on sides 3 / 4 under bright light from sliding in and out of the original inner sleeve. The vinyl plays beautifully throughout the recording on all four sides.
INNER SLEEVE: Original and correct ATCO inner sleeves used for the early “First Pressing” copies at the time of release of this album, which advertises other selections from their catalog. The inner sleeves are in extremely clean NrMT+ condition, which is unheard of for these nearly 50 year-old sleeves to this popular classic album.
Comments: “First” pressing copies of this popular and highly sought after CREAM LP with the “foil” cover are extremely difficult to locate in Superb collectible condition, and virtually non-existent with the shrink wrap still completely intact! A similar first pressing foil cover copy w/ shrink wrap recently sold on eBay for $311.00 on May 25, 2014. LP features several classic CREAM songs including “Politician”, “Crossroads”, “Spoonful”, and of course one of their biggest hits ever “White Room”!!
I am very conservative with my grading. There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for multiple LPs won in the same auction cycle. All of my LPs come with a protective poly album sleeve and will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer, tightly wrapped in bubble wrap for added protection.

NrMT- No scratches or spindle marks – may have a few light, inaudible hairlines seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the inner paper sleeve
VG+ No scratches, may have a spindle mark – light inaudible hairlines and/or paper scuffs will be present, which do not affect play or overall quality of the recording
VG May have a scratch deep enough to feel with a fingernail, but no skips – several hairlines and needle trails will be present which do not affect overall playprice rating
