The Creation - We Are Paintermen  (Sonet SLPS 1251, stereo, Danmark 1967)

Ultra rare original danish pressing of this UK Psych/Freakbeat alltime classic, red Sonet labels. Same tracklisting as the german issue on Hit-Ton but different artwork (and is several times rarer than the german pressing.....).

Condition cover:    NM(-)  (beautiful!! fully laminated flipback sleeve has a little creasing at bottom right corner, otherwise almost immaculate!)

Condition labels:    NM  (only 1 or 2 hardly visible spindle marks)

Condition record:   vinyl shows the usual light shadows / wave patterns (most (if not all..) of these danish originals seem to have this, probably caused by an original PE-innersleeve which has been replaced later on), there´s also a light partial surface rubbing (probably also due to that innersleeve..), the starting groove of side 2 looks somewhat carved-out for the first 3/4 turn (not affecting playing of the songs, you just should avoid the very outer edge when puttin the needle down...), BUT the record plays GREAT, very clean and mostly close to NM, there is just a bit of crackle in the starting groove and occasionally in the dead grooves separating the tracks

All items are send in solid cardboard packing, I don´t use flimsy wrappers or aircraft pockets. Vinyl (protected by inner sleeve) will be removed from jacket to prevent seam splits.

Grading: All items are graded visually (under strong light source) and acoustically (at least spot checked). I use the standard grading system (M/NM/EX/VG/G...) to give an overall impression of the item´s condition added by a more precise statement of all occurring defects. I´ll only grade a record (or cover)as MINT if it is visually immaculate and unplayed (or if I´m sure that it was only played 2 or 3 times). All my gradings are guaranteed, if you´re not satisfied please contact me, send the record back and you´ll receive full refund (less postage). So bid with confidence.
