Creedence Clearwater Revival released their sixth studio album "Pendulum" in December 1970. It was the first album without any cover songs and where all the tracks were written by John Fogerty. It was also the last album with all four original members as Tom Fogerty then exited the group. Hit songs included "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" and "Hey Tonight."

This copy (Fantasy 8410) is from the first pressing in 1970 and includes the original heavy vinyl blue and silver disc labels. The dead wax is etched with F-2818 H and F-2819 H which is also how the label designated what was Side One and Side Two. The gatefold cover and interior color sleeve are clearly in mint condition and I grade them VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and I also rate it VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by RCA and was pressed at the RCA Records plant in Hollywood.

In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 50 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
