Rarest version! This is the UK 2nd pressing without 'A PHILIPS RECORD PRODUCT' - rarer than the 1st pressing that does have the Philips text on the label (there are literally hundreds of the 1st pressing Philips version). Try and find another one with this label version!!!
Gatefold sleeve is VG+ condition, if not better. Most of these unlaminated sleeves are very worn and foxed. This one has some light foxing to front but edges are excellent with very little wear. Spine is superb and perfectly legible. There is a coloured in mark/sticker residue on top right corner of front sleeve. Overall it's a very respectable copy and far from the worst ones out there.
Vinyl looks EX and just has a few faint superficial marks only, no deep or feelable scratches. Nice and glossy. Audio is VG+ with light background crackle audible on quietest sections and an occasional faint tick. Loud sections play as EX if not better. Tone is lovely and full with great stereo separation. This is really one of the very best early prog Vertigo swirls and this copy will easily be a great addition to anyone's collection, and as mentioned, is MUCH rarer than the more common 1st pressing!!!
Labels are nice and clean with just a few spindle traces. No writing, no stickers, no rips etc.
Swirl inner sleeve is excellent, no writing, no seam splits. Nice copy.
Unless otherwise specified, records will be dusty and will need cleaning. Gradings are VISUAL only. Unless specified above these have not been play tested. Please do not gripe about background crackle on visual gradings and please thoroughly clean your records before playing them. Also, these records are used and will not magically materialise into mint unplayed copies.
This very rare and very valuable LP will ONLY be shipped by UK Special Delivery and fully insured. It will be incredibly well packed and removed from inner sleeve (housed in a fresh new one) as well as removed from outer sleeve and also housed in an outer poly sleeve. International shipping is also ONLY by fully tracked and insured methods, hence the cost! It costs £50 just to insure this up to £1000 plus the actual shipping costs and includes the 10% fee that eBay bizarrely charge for shipping. The parcel will only be shipped with full declared value for customs, please don't ask me to change the customs value.
