Description
CRESSIDA s/t ULTRA RARE original UK Vertigo Swirl Prog Psych lp!
1970/UK/Vertigo Records VO 7….. here’s an original UK pressing of this Rare lp. The gatefold cover is in VG condition with moderate to heavy general wear in spots, heavy corner wear, spotty seam/spine wear general wear, sticker blemish/tear top right, otherwise the cover is solid with no splits. The vinyl is in shiny VG condition with several small light scuffs/scratches, nothing I can feel. The record plays through with light noise/crackle and the odd tick/pop at cue and between tracks and in the quieter areas of song. Track three on side two is quieter along with a couple of other tracks near the end were the crackle is more present. the other tracks play better with the noise buried beneath the music and occasional light crackle, and remarkably plays with Nice fidelity! No skips, sticks, or other issues. This is an ok copy to the right ears and well worth my opening bid! Killer record! Please check my auctions for other rock and psych lp’s. Good luck and thanks for looking!
Together for only two years between 1968 and 1970, Cressida have acquired almost mythical status as the band who released two superb albums in the early 70s before disappearing into relative obscurity. First released on the renowned Vertigo label, copies of Cressida's original vinyl albums are now considered by many as classics of their kind and have become highly collectableGRADING
MINT: I consider New Unplayed or Sealed items only.
M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays very clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.
EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.
VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.
VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
