NOTES...Crime - "Frustration" b/w "Murder By Guitar" - Legendary and very rare original 1977 US Crime Music label 7" single by iconic S.F. punk legends Crime. A pulsatingly brilliant and absolutely seminal single that not only has historical significance but also - as a bonus - will still kick your butt and blow your mind if you were to go put it on the old victrola right now....Self-taught guitarists/vocalists Johnny Strike and Frankie Fix formed the nucleus of Crime, and their stark vision dominated the band through its lifespan. In the summer of 1976, with bassist Ron Ripper and drummer Ricky Tractor on board and a few hasty rehearsals under their belts, Crime recorded and self-released their classic debut single, “Hot Wire My Heart” b/w “Baby You’re So Repulsive”. The group followed this with the their 2nd 45, the awesome double A-sider, "Frustration" b/w "Murder By Guitar" . Both sides of this single are damaged masterpieces of atonal riffs, agitated rhythms and the lowest fidelity allowed by law, but within the murk of black static and needle dust lays a seductive ectomorphic power, an intellectual aggression shot through with delinquent spirit and antisocial urges. Defiantly chaotic, their buzzsaw sound drips with the grease of hard R&B, like a stumbling drunk Chuck Berry fronting the Velvet Underground after an all-night binge!! Totally classic stuff!!

Packing Procedures: All records are securely and well packed in top quality material to avoid any unnecessary damage during transit.When posted the records are removed from the covers,if possible,and placed in a PVC outer protective sleeve to prevent any sleeve splits in the post. I use brand new top quality mailers, either the envelope style with super thick stiffeners to stop any sleeve bends in transit, or the “cruciform” style that wrap around the 12"/lp. I aim to dispatch within 48 hours of receiving payment . It is recommended that you choose the option for recorded delivery (within UK) or registered delivery (for Europe and Rest of the World) for higher value items . I cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged that are not shipped by recorded / registered mail . I obtain a certificate proof of posting for every item sent .
