Beautiful copy of the FAMOUS FIRST ROCK bootlegger Rubber Dubber's fourth release. Recorded on UJune 26, 1970 and released before the end of the year (which was a selling point for rock bootlegs of the first era. The most recent concerts available to the fans as soon as possible.
This is a first pressing of this release and contains the salutation, "Yours truly, Rubber Dubber" on the cover (see photo). Later copies featured the large Rubber Dubber logo in the salutation's place. Currently, there is one copy of this second pressing in VG+ shape for $103. Also, there is one other copy that has only one LP of the two original LPs listed $48. This copy is the rarest and the most collectable. I( bought this copy in October of 1970 at Jaylee's in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas. It has been played twice. I could not wait to hear it when I got home from buying it, and the 2nd time I played it, I taped it.
As compared to the official release (Four Way Street), FWS's tracks were taken from shows at the Fillmore East (New York, New York) on June 2 through June 7, 1970; The Forum (Los Angeles) on June 26 through June 28, 1970; and the Auditorium Theatre (Chicago, Illinois) on July 5, 1970.
There are six tracks on this LP that are not on the "Four Way Street" LP: (1) Tell Me Why, (2)Guinevere, (3) Old Man, (4) 49 Reasons and For What It's Worth, (5) Helplessly Hoping, and (6) Woodstock.
Stored vertically in a smoke free environment for 48 years.
