Description
EXOTICS - I DON'T WANT NOBODY (TO LEAD ME ON) b/w DRIFTAWAY - U.K. PYE # 7N.17925
A number of groups were called the Exotics, to the best of my knowledge this one was a white group and this was a 1970 re-recording of their own 1968 release. Regardless, this is a very good, danceable record with a soulful sound, that compares well with my beloved soul records, and is good enough to be played to any open-minded NS crowd. The flip is also a good sound in it's own right, with a funky reggae feel.
Condition: A-side plays 10/10, b-side plays 10/10.
Visually, playing surfaces have not unexpected minor marks and a super fine scratch or two, NAP.
Labels are pretty clean with only slight rub wear, NOC.
PLEASE NOTE:
Shipping rates are $3 within Canada, $6 to USA and $10 anywhere else in the world, UNINSURED ONLY. In 2013 Canada Post insurance (and postage) is even more expensive. Insurance is now unavailable on small packets and light packets. Insurance can be added if requested, using other already more expensive services.
(Grade explanation below)
....VISIBLE condition is generally described eg: clean copy, writing on label, storage ring, scuffs, scratches, evident playwear in groove, scratch-free, faded label, damaged label, sticker on label, etc, etc.
....Having said all that, grading is at best an honest opinion of record condition. Nobody, including me, has a monopoly on perfect grades but my hope is that the majority of buyers continue to be pleasantly surprised by the condition of their purchases from me.
