Description
This is an overall fine original stereo U.S. pressing copy of the second LP by American group the Cryan' Shames, released like their debut in 1967. The group formed in a western suburb of Chicago, and while they remained a popular draw locally, they never hit paydirt nationally, though the inclusion of "Sugar and Spice," the title track of their debut LP, on the epochal 1972 comp Nuggets did achieve them a measure of posthumous fame. Their sophomore effort eschews the folk-rock focus of their debut for sunshine pop, but like the debut it includes a couple of straight-up rock songs, the psychedelic "The Sailing Ship" and the guitar workout "Dennis Dupree from Danville." The jacket is close to pristine (M-). The disc is clean with some light scuffing, and plays with some mostly light surface noise (EX-). The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
