SIXTEN EHRLING conducting THE STOCKHOLM RADIO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.
ORIGINAL issue on the plum/gold Capitol record label CTL 7026
released in 1952 !
DO NOT confuse this with the later (and inferior) release on the Capitol rainbow label.
Heavyweight vinyl 210gms ( later issues were thinner pressings ) lies flat
and true on the turntable.
FULLY PLAY TESTED AS EX
This is an awkward one to grade --- better than EX but not quite good
enough for EX+.
Yes there is the odd background crackle.. but these are not intrusive
and after call the record is about 63 years old and probably never been
cleaned. I didn't find them intrusive at all.
This is quite common in these early 1950's Capitol Mono LPs
(MONO CARTRIDGE RECOMMENDED).
A couple of non sounding surface marks,
MADE in ENGLAND and pressed by DECCA.
There are NO loud pops or tics and certainly no repeats or jumps.
This is a RARE RECORD.

EXCELLENT+: The smallest of background sound. e.g. one piece of dust in the grooves.Surface marks will ONLY be mentioned if they affect playback.
EXCELLENT: audio inspection has revealed no major scratches on the playing surface, but there may be the fewest of light crackles or soft tics.
The jacket might have slight wear and/or creasing or fading.
VERY GOOD: audio inspection has revealed some light tics and the jacket might have creasing or other defects which will be pointed out in the listing.
