Fantastic Mod Punk ‘hard’ PowerpopPunk 7” from Scotland, the land of the ZIPS, EXILE and RED LETTERS. You are bidding on the first, best and rarest 7“ by the CUBAN HEELS from Edinburgh and Glasgow. The same sold on eBay, in April 2010, for £31 and in March for £30 (UK). With the band is vocalist John Malarky originally of punk band JOHNNY & THE SELF ABUSERS who would become SIMPLE MINDS. The starter ‘Downtown’ is a fantastic cover version of Petula Clark’s all-time classic from the 60’s but the real winner is the ‘hard’ and ‘loud’ guitar hero riff Mod/Punk stomper ‘Smok Walk’ on the flip. This track has real power, real drive and real energy. Also check out the POWERPEARLS #4 sampler because one track appears on that great compilation. Here’s your chance to get the original first pressing, released on private mini label ‘Housewives Choice’ records in 1978 (catalogue number JY 1).

Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
