CUESTA COLLEGE JAZZ ENSEMBLE -- Quantas/Something Old, Something Blue -- hard to find, original 33-1/3 RPM 7" E.P.  Way obscure single by the Cuesta College Jazz Ensemble out of San Luis Obispo, California area under the direction of Gene Short; no date on it but I'm guessing late 1970's to early 1980's.  Both sides are good Modern Jazz numbers -- "Quantas" is an original by Steve Owen, Mark Levine's "Something Old, Something Blue" was originally performed by Blue Mitchell and his group.  Although this is a single, both tracks (at 33-1/3 RPM) are very long.  Note the label name "Yoda Records," possible an homage to the "Star Wars" character?  In generic white sleeve.  Record:  VG, very light wear on A side, several light-to-moderate scuffs on B side, plays well, on Yoda private label, U.S. press.
