This record is in excellent condition. It has a few spindle marks showing faintly in the centre but not loads and no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. The centres are not loose and overall the disc itself looks great.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean with nothing serious showing and only a few minor light lines visible in normal light. There are not loads but you can see a few light lines when you angle the disc and search for them. The record has no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes and has a lovely gloss.
I play tested the record and it plays really well overall. It lays flat on the deck but upon playing there is a minor amount of upward movement in the record arm. This is pretty minor and of course has no affect on the audio produced which is excellent overall and is of course free of any serious issues such as skips, sticks or clicks. There is a minor amount of surface noise in the run in, between some songs and very occasionally in some of the very quiet passages but this is all quite minor and overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable play test. As with all picture discs there is slight depreciation in sound quality but this played very well and as I say I enjoyed the whole play test which went well with no major issues to report.
The sleeve is in very good condition. It has wear and some 'crumpling' to the edges and corners(pics), and the writing along the spine is no longer all legible. There are no splits or pen marks anywhere but there is a 1.5cm tear to the front 'window'(pics) and a 8mm tear to the front right edge. There is also some creasing to both sides and some ring marks showing. So overall the sleeve is not pristine but despite its flaws it is still solid enough. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information on its condition.
It includes a thick plastic inner but this is fairly weak and has splits to each edge and some grubbiness to it.
Also included is its original fold out lyrics insert which is in good shape with no tears, splits or pen marks. It has some light discolouring in places and some mild creasing but nothing drastic.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
