Originally released in 1994, Current 93's masterpiece Of Ruine Or Some Blazing Starre followed the classic Thunder Perfect Mind album and marked another leap forward for the band. Michael Cashmore's gorgeously delicate guitar, augmented by drones, bells, and sound manipulations, help to make this one of Current 93's most musically hypnotic albums, with David Tibet's vocals and text adding a quietly controlled power and drama virtually unsurpassed in the Current 93 canon.

Test pressing LPs are the very first to come off the stampers and are thus closer to the sound of the master tape. LPs of this type are used by record companies for evaluation purposes. As would be expected, quantities are extremely limited (many are one-of-a-kind), and therefore test pressings are very hard to find and quite valuable.
Made by World Serpent Distribution this rare test pressing LP comes in its original white paper protective cover [see picture]. Vinyl slightly warped. The phrases "THE REBEL POWERS THAT THEE ARRAY" and "MY PAIN BENEATH YOUR SHELTERING HAND" are scratched into the runout groove.
