Original ultra-limited pressing of this rare collaboration between Current 93 and Nurse with wound(this is the one of the 2 Steven Stapleton/David Tibet collaborations under their own 'names)! Limited to ONLY 1000 copies, being thus of the most difficult to find releases of the artists' discography!! "The Grave and beautiful name of Sadness" covering one side of the album was the soundtrack to Diana Rogerson's film "Twisting the black threads of my mental marionettes", while the other side of the album is filled with "The Sadness of things", a piece of Stapleton and Tibet with help by Ruby Wallis and Joolie Wood. Cover artwork by Babs Santini(Steven Stapleton). For sure one of the most experimental dark and haunting albums of the artists very close to the sound of Coil and the droney soundscapes of Zoviet France.

Some words about Current 93 & Nww from the internet:"Current 93 is the ongoing work of David Tibet (now known as David Michael), once a member of Psychic TV and 23 Skidoo and also the founder of Dog's Blood Order. Dog's Blood Order was David's project which preceeded Current 93. Current 93 began in 1982, releasing a ritualistic single in the next year called LAShTAL and went on to release LPs of noisy soundscapes up through 1986. At that point, they turned to a more "apocalyptic folk" sound, with acoustic guitars and atonal vocals; yet they constantly evolve a new style with each record. Though the group is really Tibet's own, a family of ever changing musicians helps out with each release. The one musician to appear on virtually all Current 93 releases is Steven Stapleton of Nurse With Wound, and David Tibet in his turn has appeared on numerous Nurse With Wound releases. Members of Current 93 have collaborated with other groups such as Coil and Death In June. In addition to this, David's record label, Durtro, has released music from Antony and the Johnsons, Shirley Collins, Nature And Organization, Tiny Tim and others. Nurse With Wound or NWW is a British experimental music band, formed in 1978 by Steven Stapleton, John Fothergill and Heman Pathak. In 1979 Heman left the group, and in 1981 it effectly became a solo project of Steven Stapleton, with a variety of assisting musicians over the years."

Cover lies in mint- condition, one would think it was taken before some minutes ago from the new section of the stall of a record store, while vinyl looks to be be perfect / mint!!
