CURTIS COUNCE "THE CURTIS COUNCE GROUP" LP - On CONTEMPORARY Records, C3526. Extremely rare 1957 MONO 12" LP, double sided DEEP GROOVE with the 1st press yellow label with black lettering. Thick vinyl, thick glossy cardboard cover. The personnel: Jack Sheldon/trumpet; Harold Land/tenor sax; Carl Perkins/piano; Curtis Counce/bass; Frank Butler/drums. The vinyl is visually in NM condition (beautiful sheen) with clean labels. Slight background noise audible, mostly during softer passages. The thick cardboard cover is in superb shape and displays wonderfully. There are a few small, faint check marks written on back. The front cover graphics are particularly striking.
