TRACKLISTING: These complete Monterey Concert recordings from 1959 contain a wonderful latin-fused jazz set from the Modern Mambo Quintet possibly Tjaders greatest band and quite possibly the greatest small-combo Latin jazz band ever! Tjader is also credited with bringing in big ticket sales that year and saving the landmark festival before it had even got going. Features Mongo Santamaria Willie Bobo Lonnie Hewitt Paul Horn and Al McKibbon in lightning form.
