Description

Rare open reel tape:  "Cal Tjader Sounds Out Burt Bacharach".  Tjader's vibes star in a highly melodic set.  This is an open reel tape, 4 track stereo, recorded at 7.5 IPS. 

Skye Records catalog #SK-6, released in 1968.  Made by Ampex.  Note that this is a 7.5 IPS tape, not the more common half-speed version.  Stereo.

 This is a reel-to-tape, not a CD!
I no longer have a tape deck, so my grading is based on visual inspection.  However, I do have over 50 years' experience with recorded media in many formats.
Tape grading:  Excellent.  No brittleness, no curling visible, no flaking of the magnetic coating.  The tape pack appears very uniform.  The reel and label are in excellent condition.
Box grading:  Excellent.  Stored in an air-conditioned room, so there is zero moisture staining.  Corners and hinge are all intact and strong.  Near-zero scuffing on the front or back panels.  This is about as nice a copy of a 50-year old open reel tape as you will find!
