THE VINYL IS NICE, VG+ WITH THIN HAIR LINES AND NO FEELABLE SCRATCHES THAT CAN BE SEEN UNDER BRIGHT LIGHTS 

ON PLAYING THIS SOUNDS EXCELLENT! VERY SHARP AND SUPERB DYNAMICS WITH LITTLE TO NO SURFACE NOISE AND NOTHING TO HARM THE EXPERIMENTAL MULTI SOUNDS FROM THIS LANDMARK GERMAN GROUP!

CERTAINLY, ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE BEST COPY OF THIS LP I HAVE HEARD FOR A LONG TIME - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

THE JACKET IS VG+  - NO SPLITS NO WRITING NO LABELS, - BUT IT HAS SOME NORMAL WEAR TO THE FOIL, SHOWS RING WEAR AND BUMPING TO THE EDGES AND CORNERS. FOIL COVERS ARE VERY SUSCEPTIBLE TO WEAR AND THIS IS FROM 1975!! THE BACK HAS THE BACK FOIL SLICK SLIGHTLY DAMAGED AT THE TOP (SEE PHOTO)

SPINE IS HAS EDGE AND CORNER BUMPING

On "Soon Over Babaluma", Can showed that they had not suffered from the loss of vocalist Suzuki. Indeed, the soft, yet intense sound of that album is carried even further here. The opening track, "Dizzy Dizzy" may seem a little humorous in its lyrical tone, but Karoli's quiet, almost spoken, voice is actually an excellent complement to the band's evolving sound. The funky groove shows the band moving into territory not seen even on "Future Days". The other track sang by Karoli, the eleven-minute epic "Chain Reaction" is even better. Can move toward "ambient" rhythms long before any other band and because they are not over-relying on synthesisers, they are able to capture this sound in an organic way that never allows any instrumentalist to dominate. Can were one of the most innovative and unique bands of the 1970s "Soon Over Babaluma" shows them at close to the height of their powers and is recommended for all music lovers.

FINALLY ONE LAST WORD RE HAIRLINES, IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ANY NON SEALED RECORD WITHOUT THEM, MANY HAD THEM FROM NEW. MOSTLY THEY ARE A RESULT OF STORAGE AND USE AND USUALLY HAVE LITTLE IMPACT ON THE SOUND QUALITY. THE SAME GOES FOR BACKGROUND NOISE, UNFORTUNATELY ALL RECORDS WILL HAVE SOME AND THIS VARIES AND REFLECTS THE PRESSING QUALITY. 

Most records have production marks where someone touched or moved the vinyl while it was still semi-soft.  These marks look like smudges, but are not scratches or "paper scuffs" and do not usually sound.  Untouched vinyl from newly-opened records have these marks.

How I Grade Condition Of Discs

Mint

This means I have owned it from new or purchased from a distributors warehouse, basically it means absolutely new shape, never been played or out of its dust cover. In the case of LP's, a North American album will have to be factory sealed (anyone can reseal an album!) Take Note: European and Japaneses albums were never shrink wrapped!

Note: Being mint does not guarantee it's free of pops and clicks, many pressings especially from the US were made with very poor vinyl and in a hurry which means often there are imperfections in the pressing. As a former importer, we were often given back brand new albums due to clicks heard in the playback.

Mint Minus - No such thing, it's either mint or not.

Excellent - A disc is super clean, with no visible marks

 Excellent Plus, means it's probably mint but can't be proven by me.

Excellent minus, is a disc that is excellent except it may have some markings that do not show up in the playing

VG - A disc that is STILL in good shape, WILL have some scuffs or scratches, not in excellent shape but well worth owning. VG + and ++,a disc that is that much better than VG.
