Description
On offer here is an original First Pressing of Tago Mago by Can, released on the United Artists label in 1971, catalogue number UAD 60009/10.
The textured envelope sleeve is intact and all the flaps are whole without any tears or rips, which is a very common fault with this fragile sleeve. The spines are in Excellent shape.
There is some rubbing on the top and bottom of the sleeve so for this reason i have rated it Very Good Plus, that is being a little harsh but have decided to undergrade. Please see the photos to confirm the condition.
Bot the vinyls are in at least Excellent condition, there are one of two very light hairlines probably caused by removing the vinyl from the paper inner, but I can confirm that these do not sound. Both vinyls are rated Excellent /Excellent Plus.
The matrix numbers are A-1 and B-1.
This is a now a rare and sought after album as a first press with the envelope sleeve, and are difficult to find in this great condition.
Please note I use the Record Collector system of album grading.
The records will be sent outside of their cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12”stiffeners in a heavy duty record mailer made by Covers 33, as used by Mail Order Record companies.
