CANNONBALL ADDERLEY / MILES DAVIS Somethin' Else Blue Note BN 1595
Up for auction is a mid-60s Blue Note MONO pressing of the Cannonball Adderley / Miles Davis' fantastic 1958 session for Blue Note, "Somethin' Else". Recorded within days of Davis' "Milestones" lp, this fine session is comprised of 3 standards, 1 original Davis blues number and 1 number composed by Julian's brother Nat. ESSENTIAL late 50s bop session, with outstanding work from pianist Hank Jones. DEAD WAX INFO: Side 1 has BN-LP-1595-A-2 and RVG and 9M all etched into the dead wax. Side 2 has BN-LP-1595-B and RVG and 9M all etched into the dead wax. Blue Note mono repress, circa 1966 with NY labels. VINYL VISUAL: VG+ and better with very few marks and a tiny bit of paper rash / mottling. Labels show minimal play (like once or twice). A cleaning may improve this grade.
VINYL PLAY GRADE: VG+ and MUCH better with SUPERB mono fidelity and a very low noise level (as you would expect on any 1966 repress). Should improve with a good cleaning. Most of the lp plays at a NM level. COVER VISUAL: VG+ and much better with full very minor wear. Shows just GREAT.
Comes with OG Blue Note branded printed paper inner of the era (VG+ great condition). The lp is held in an Audiophile style rice plastic inner. DETAILS ON SELLER AND SHIPPING

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item).
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER). Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g.
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.

I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory. SINCE SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE (Thank You Canada Post), I will rarely list gatefolds or multi-items for sale overseas. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST. Since a lot of the stuff that I will be selling is of higher end quality, rarely will things be offered overseas. Sorry folks. Again, I can consider requests on an item-by-item basis.
