Welcome to
Always on the lookout for great Beatles albums. Here is a rare stereo copy "The Beatles Second Album" on Capitol Records. Based on the inner sleeve, this copy is from 1966. After "Yesterday and Today" and before "Revolver". Sleeve is in great shape, no rips or tears. Vinyl is ultra clean and sounds GREAT! I have a 1970's purple label stereo copy and this blows it away. I would be sorely tempted to keep this in my own collection.
The ONLY problems I found: Outer sleeve has some Scotch tape on the left edge (see picture) and there is a scratchy sound between "Roll Over Beethoven" and "Thank You Girl". Original owner wrote her name on the back cover, as pictured.
Capitol Rainbow "no subsidiary" label. Has BMI and ASCAP credits on the record. Pressed at plant number 3, Scranton PA. Will insure this upon shipping.
