Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band ?– Mirror Man Original UK Release – Die Cut Sleeve.
Label: Buddah Records ?– 2365 002 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Die-cut Gatefold  Country:UK Released:1971 Genre:Blues, Rock Style: Blues Rock, Alternative Rock, Avantgarde CONDITION:
VINYL –    Excellent -.  Clean and shiny with very minor surface marks.  Plays well and sounds great.   • Matrix / Runout (A-Side run-out, stamped): 2365002 A//1?420 • Matrix / Runout (B-Side run-out, stamped): 2365002 B//1?420
SLEEVE –.  This is  VG+    Die-cut 'window' cover with pasted in silver & black/white half-tone liner, opening at spine (inside).  The die cut (on a single sheet gatefold)  is perfect – see picture  - but the sleeve itself  has a couple of minor issues: There is  a small (5p piece)  area of damage on the rear top right where a sticker has been removed see second picture.  There one small sticker on rear – personal identifier.
The back cover states:  "These performances were recorded one night in Los Angeles in 1965"  This is incorrect. The content is part of various material recorded over weeks in 1967 for an aborted double-album follow-up to "Safe As Milk" (known broadly as 'Brown Wrapper'). This 'Mirror Man' recording is the first time some of the work officially surfaced, 4 years later as the 5th album - and why the band is "His Magic Band". Further errors are perpetrated in the credits:  Alex St. Clair has had 'Snouffer' added to his alias, Handley is shown as Handsley & Semens as Simmons.

"Buddah Records [logo] Select"  "Original recording, Buddah Records N.Y."  "Manufactured by Polydor Records Ltd., London".  "Printed and made by the E. J. Day Group, London and Bedford". (Price Code): Select Vinyl is in an un-punched white liner  in good condition.
LABEL :  Black & silver "Buddah" labels. -  A few  spindle marks but there is a small red sticker on each side – see picture– the product of youthful enthusiasm

Note to Buyers:
I am not a dealer - just a newly retired old hippy downsizing and trying to find decent homes for my Vinyl collection before I croak and some dealer gets to hoover it all up.  All my LPs have been stored carefully over the years in individual poly-bags and with new inner poly inner sleeves where required.  I ship all the LPs in these bags and use either strong recylced cardboard or bespoke mailers.  Part of an extensive private collection now being liquidated. Most items bought new upon release and stored carefully in smoke-free pet free home.
Please pay via Paypal within 3 days. I aim to ship within 24 hours of payment being received. I also try to keep my P&P as low as possible after the very significant Royal Mail price increases.
