Brand new & sealed deluxe vinyl edition. The item pictured is the item for sale.
Sun Zoom Spark features the three albums that the good Captain recorded in the immediate wake of Trout Mask Replica - 1970’s Lick My Decals Off, Baby and 1972’s The Spotlight Kid and Clear Spot – and they’ve all been remastered, so they’ll sound better than you’ve ever heard them sound before.

The real bonus, though, is the special bonus disc. Now’s your chance to check out 14 previously-unissued outtakes, including alternate versions of “Alice in Blunderland” and “Circumstances,” an early mix of “Nowadays a Woman’s Gotta Hit a Man,” and a variety of other heretofore-unreleased tracks taken from the sessions for The Spotlight Kid and Clear Spot, some of which diehard Beefheart aficionados will recognize from their eventual release on other albums. (For example, there are two different versions of “Dirty Blue Gene,” neither of which sound quite like the version that ultimately ended up appearing on Doc at the Radar Station some eight years later.)
