Description
Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band's "Trout Mask Replica" on Straight Records, STS 1053. This is an original Straight pressing from 1969 with the 2MS 2027 labels. Both records are in excellent shape with a few small scratches caused by the paper inner sleeves that do not seriously affect play or cause skips on my turntable. The gatefold jacket with the iconic shot of Beefheart wearing a trout mask is in VG+ shape with a slight amount of ring wear to the front and back sides, some wear to the top and bottom seams, a small amount of damage to the upper left hand corner, and a tiny tear (about 2 cm.) to the upper center seam. This copy comes with the original Straight inner sleeves. This is the greatest album of all time and was produced by Frank Zappa!! A must have!!
