Right, here we go..... what you are looking at is a 1970 copy of 'Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - Trout Mask Replica' on US Straight Records. The cover is maked STS 1053 but, this being the second pressing, the discs are marked 2MS 2027. The gatefold cover is in VG condition, tight and colourful with only slight ringwear to front and rear. Both openings have been taped and the tape is slightly yellowed but it doesn't detract from the overall appearance. The records are housed in the generic 'Zapped' inner bags which are in VG condition, but again are taped on 3 sides and both have small pen marks and there is one small white numbered sticker on one. The discs are bright and shiny and  show minimum  handling/playing wear...only the slightest feint marks. I played the whole record and it sounds great, no crackles or anything untoward... thus EX-. The cat did leave the room in a hurry though....fair comment, it's a hard listen! Anyway, happy bidding! Overseas buyers please await advice before making any payment as postage can vary,thank you!
