Description
For sale is the original 1969 release of this classic album on the Straight label. The record includes the fold out booklet containing all lyrics and various drawings by Beefheart, there is a picture of a pre teen Beefheart on the cover. Many listings do not include this booklet. The matrix number on the record cover is sts 1053 and the number on the record is 2ms 2027. On the runout groove of the record is etched sts-1053. This seems to be how the record was originally packaged. The cover is very good for its age, the main fault is a rim around the front cover caused by the outline of the vinyl. The two records are in very good shape with little or no signs of wear. Please look at the photos and contact me if you have any queries. I have tried to describe the item as clearly as possible, I am not an expert. The record has been owned by me since 1970 and has not been played by anyone else.
