I think this is the first, UK pressing of this fabulous album, much decried by the critics at the time because of the 'production effects'. Hey though, it's Beefheart, so let's not worry too much. UK Liberty pressed LP, stereo, with two colour, blue label, LBS 83172, in what looks like a first issue US Blue Thumb, stereo sleeve, marked S1 on the spine and reverse. Now whatever it is, this version must exist, because I have two copies in front of me, same vinyl, same sleeve, one of which is my 'keeper', and this one.
Gatefold sleeve has the inevitable spine and edge wear, and about four inches of splitting on one of the lower edges. In addition, some ring- and general-wear, and as you'll see, somebody has taped the top seams, which appear undamaged to me, probably as a result. It will probably tell you on the internet somewhere how to safely remove such. Very good, therefore, I guess. Labels are reasonably clean, with some spindling. Vinyl has some surface marking, but plays excellent mostly, and very good plus at least.

Vinyl always posted with cardboard stiffeners. In respect of combined postage, a double LP is treated as two LPs. Including when combining postage for a number of items, whether for UK or overseas buyers, I'll try to work out what is cheapest in each case. Don't hesitate to contact me before bidding if need be, and I'll try to give an estimate of the likely postage costs. Paypal only for non-UK bidders I'm afraid. UK buyers can pay by cheque, and I'll post on clearance of the payment. Please make payment within five days of the end of the auction, unless you intend to bid on other items, in which case, please contact me accordingly. Apologies for this, but I've had a few problems with non-payers.

I always obtain proof of posting however, and can provide evidence of the sending of a package if required.
