Description
It hardly needs me to say how rare this album is. YES, this is the Original Verve Mono original with the famous pillar sleeve. How often does this album become available? Hardly ever.
As you can see from the photos the sleeve has a few issues. There is a 2cm tear on the opening and a 15mm split at the opening to the sleeve at the bottom. This is of course the original flip back sleeve and has someone’s name written on the reverse (see picture). Nevertheless, there is little edge wear and overall I would grade the sleeve as VERY GOOD PLUS.
The vinyl surface however is very shiny with only light lines. Having just listened to it, it plays really well and I would grade it as VERY GOOD.
I have tried to be as accurate as I can be with the description but there is always a certain degree of subjectivity when describing a vinyl record. That said I am sure you will love this album and enjoy owning it as I have.
