Description

For auction: Caravan’s debut album ‘Caravan’ Mono VLP 6011 onthe Verve Forecast label first pressing.

Single owner (me) from new.

I have played it through recently both sides on a Rega Planar3 deck with a Goldring 1042 (top notch) cartridge.

Using the Discogs grading system (see below) the album isVG+.

Some fine detail: There is very slight surface noise in somequiet sections but that is being picky. There are just a few visible scratches (moreon side two) but they don’t affect the audio. Track one seems to my ears to endslightly abruptly but I can detect no visible stylus movement and in the factthe tracks ends abruptly when listening to it on Spotify. There are no jumps orskips throughout.

Overall it is a great listening experience and a very wellrecorded Mono mix.

The sleeve and inner sleeve are VG+

I’m also selling some rare Pink Floyd singles (see otherlistings)

Postage is set so I can send it signed for delivery to be safe. For enquiries outside of the UK, please message me.

VG+ recordwill show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previousowner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show somesigns of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don'taffect one's listening experiences.

VG any ofthe defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surfacenoise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during asong's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wearwill start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel witha fingernail) that will affect the sound.
