Description
Carlos Pickling Cumbia organ percussion 60s Peru 7” MAG White Label V Good Audio.
Condition is "Used".
Sleeve: The Original Peruvian Orange MAG company sleeve has mild creasing and is in Very Good condition. The sleeve in this condition is Rare.
Record: The record surfaces look Very Good Plus with some light wispy paper scuff marks and a few light stylus marks. The white paper labels are clean and undamaged with Carlos’ signature on both sides. The playback quality is stunning for a Latin American pressing of this era. Playback Audio ranges between Very Good and Excellent with just light surface noise which is a reflection of the pressing quality. I doubt it’s been played more than a handful of times given the sensational high frequencies.
This is one of Carlos’s best 45’s. The hidden gem being the B track Cumbia Peruana which will appeal to a wide range of collectors. The music is a frenetic Latin organ and percussion aural assault with the percussion sounds just hanging in the room. The 🔔 in particular is out of this world. If you like weird and wonderful Latin Beat this should be top of your list of one of the continents rarest. The Black Mag label stock issue turns up now and again but the white label promo is like hens teeth.

All my Records are wet vacuum cleaned and play-graded from start to finish. Records are removed from their original sleeve and placed in a new white sleeve to ensure the original sleeve is preserved and to avoid any contamination of the playing surfaces after thorough deep groove cleaning. I aim to supply some of the cleanest records and try to eliminate surface noise. All are meticulously graded irrespective of value and are supplied in a polypropylene protective outer sleeve.
Securely packed with ample stiffeners making the package as inflexible as possible.
