I'm offering the Santana jazz acetate album "Swing Of Delight" pressed at The Automatt in San Francisco on August 24, 1980. In stereo. Length: 5 songs on a 12" disc. (See gallery close-up images for which 5 songs.) Catalog #XSS 167503. No matrix number in the runout on either side. The album was later released as two albums by Columbia Records that same year. This is a jazz album with jazz musicians. In its original black cardboard jacket in mint condition. White sleeve inside is also mint. I've owned this since it came out and have played it a few times. There are 9 pops on side 1, none on side 2. One pop during "Song For My Brother", 6 pops during "Gardena", one pop between cuts 2 and 3, and one pop during "Shere Kitan The Tiger". This has been stored upright in my album rack in my home. Combine auctions and save on shipping.

On the album, Santana is joined by musicians from the Santana band as well as members of Miles Davis' 1960s quintet: saxophonist Wayne Shorter, pianist Herbie Hancock, bassist Ron Carter, and drummer Tony Williams, whom Santana described as "the best musicians on the planet." Santana later recalled that he was "scared to death" in the studio, but stated that playing with such top-notch musicians "will make a guitar player go deep, deep inside himself for the inner stuff." This album peaked at #65 on the Billboard album charts. © Wikipedia

Someone has uploaded Santana's the full 2 albums to youtube if you want to give it a listen before purchasing. Keep in mind only 5 of the songs are on the album offered here. Do a search for "hold on santana" or chick here if ebay doesn't remove the link.
