This is a rarely seen compilation album by Carmen Maki that focuses mainly on her best songs and singles out of her early period, being late sixties and early seventies before she lost track with her OZ alliance. The music depicts the real grandeur of Carmen Maki, what she really sounded like and how stunningly great she could bring forth acid like songs, folk induced ballades and soft psychedelic stirred-up compositions. So be not afraid, this is real quality stuff and has nothing to do with Maki loosing the pedals of quality with her Oz alliance or dabbling with heavy psych induced rock she blasted out with Blues Creation. This is her solo and alone, almost naked bringing forth songs that are so mind shatteringly beautiful and erotic that they will send shivers down your spine. Great all the way and quite rare. This compilation almost never resurfaces.
