This classic 1973 stereo compilation album, The Singles 1969–1973 by the iconic pop duo Carpenters (consisting of siblings Karen and Richard Carpenter), features definitive hits like "We've Only Just Begun," "Top of the World," "Superstar," and "(They Long to Be) Close to You." Released on A&M Records (Catalog SP-3601), this specific US pressing was pressed at the Los Angeles plant, identifiable by the "P" matrix suffix.
The release includes the original gatefold jacket layout with the brown/tan A&M logo labels and features the complete 12-page bound photo and lyric booklet inside.
