Description
One of Cat Stevens best albums....'Tea For The Tillerman', released in 1970 in the UK on Island Records (ILPS 9135) this listing is for the rare first label release with the white "i" on the pink background. Many consider this particular pressing to be the best audiophile version as far as overall balance, detail, etc. After listening to this copy from beginning to end, I can fully understand why this opinion is widely held.
Gatefold Jacket: Excellent....laminated front and back with heavily textured inner gatefold....wide spine in superb condition...only a small portion of the top edge has some wear. A very nice example.
Inner-Sleeve: Excellent
Record: VG(+) ~ Excellent.....this is a very nice copy with only a touch of surface noise here and there. The only minor blemish is a barely noticeable half-second skip on the song 'Into White'. There are no other issues which interfere with the stunning audio coming from this rare1st pressing. If you are properly set up with a nice turntable and decent cartridge/stylus, the sound coming out of your headphones or speakers will blow your mind.
I will always combine shipping to save you money.
