Description

The original 1st pressing of this album from 1971 on the Pink Rim Island label. Matrix A3U/B3U. Stampers 1-RG/2-RR. Etching 'STERLING'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in the original cover - and this is important because a lot of the copies you will see don't have the very first issue cover. This cover is textured and printed by E.J.Day - and it is the very first version to hit the shops. Also included is the turquoise inner sleeve. So, 100% original & 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In remarkable condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of the lightest possible marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. The audio comes across with top level clarity and i suppose the fact that this is the original pressing mastered at STERLING is helping here! Interference is almost non-existent and that's not something you can often say about this LP. It really is a joy to behold and renders these classic tunes in a way no other piece of vinyl could.
Cover (Ex-) This is the true original version of this cover so do bear this in mind. Front and back are in superb condition the only vaguely visible fault is a slight nick in the front down at the bottom. There is a bit of edge wear in places and it has worn through in one small spot. The text on the spine is still fully intact - and that is no mean feat! The interior is in great condition and overall the cover retains great rigidity. A wonderful example of a hard to find original.
Inner (Vg+) A bit of light ageing. But no splits or markings.

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
