Item Overview
Original 1971 first Japanese pressing of Cat Stevens’ classic album “Teaser and the Firecat,” released by A&M Records under catalog number AML 105.
This distinctive Japanese edition comes in a textured gatefold cover with an attached booklet containing Japanese liner notes, an interview, photographs, English lyrics and Japanese translations.
Also included is the large original fold-out Cat Stevens poster. The poster is unused, intact and retains its original fold lines.
The green OBI shown in the photographs is a highly detailed reproduction. It is not an original period OBI.
Includes “The Wind,” “Morning Has Broken,” “Moonshadow,” “Peace Train” and “How Can I Tell You.”
Condition Notes
Vinyl: Near Mint
The vinyl retains a clean, glossy appearance. No spindle marks are visible.
The record was photographed under deliberately strong angled light to show the playing surface as clearly and honestly as possible. Please examine the close-up photographs.
Textured Gatefold Cover: Very Good Plus
The gatefold cover remains intact and presents well overall. It shows age-related discoloration, spotting, light edge wear and corner wear.
There is visible localized wear and damage along the bottom edge and lower corners, as clearly shown in the close-up photographs.
Attached Booklet: Very Good Plus
The booklet remains fully attached and intact, with no missing pages. It shows age-related discoloration and spotting.
Original Fold-Out Poster: Unused
The original large black-and-white poster is unused and intact. It retains its original fold lines and shows only light age-related toning from long-term storage.
OBI: Reproduction
The green OBI shown in the photographs is a high-quality reproduction. It is included for display but is not an original OBI.
