Description

Cecil Taylor on Blue Note 4237 – SIGNED

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Cecil Taylor “Unit Structures” on the New York, USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4237.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The N.Y. 10023 cover is in excellent condition - clean and bright throughout, with light age toning around the edges of the back slick; Taylor’s bold signature is on the back at the left edge. Table card from Taylor’s appearance at the Blue Note club (NYC) where the signature was obtained is included.  Illustrated inner sleeve also included.

Personnel include Jimmy Lyons, Ken McIntyre, Eddie Gale, Henry Grimes, and Andrew Cyrille
