Condition:

This set comes from my father’s personal collection. It would have been bought new and played very little, and not at all following the advent of cassettes. I'm not a dealer, but have described the condition as well as possible below, starting from what I consider to be 'perfect' and then pointing out every slightest imperfection.  It appears that other sellers would rate this condition as 'excellent', but I'm not using this term because I'm unaware of its precise implications.

I’ve inspected the records carefully under a very bright light, and have listened to all six sides carefully throughout with the volume turned up high.

The records are free of scratches but have a few light surface marks, consistent with normal use.  Record 1 seems to have a very thin (1mm or less) sliver missing from a short section of the outer edge - this is hardly noticeable, and appears to be a manufacturing defect; the performance of the record is unaffected.

The soundtracks for Records 2 and 3 seem to be faultless. Record 1, Side 1 has a faint sound at the same point for four consecutive rotations, just after the beginning of the first track, but no visual defect is evident; possibly a speck of dust needs to be removed, but I’m not sure. Record 1, Side 2, track 2 has occasional faint sounds, but again no obvious major visual defects.

Booklet perfect: looks unread: crisp and crease-free, with a tiny faint ink mark (8mm x 2mm) on the back cover.

Box: clean and structurally sound, with occasional spots of lost colour and a few tiny spots of rubbing; one slightly bumped corner; and a small split (5.5cm) along one edge of the base.
