Description
This is an ultra rare label variant of Celtic Frost's "Morbid Tales" LP. A small number of copies of this release were pressed with different labels than the two widely known ones (bloody axe one and the underlined block font one) that has razor shards around the perimeter of the label. These are extremely hard to find and rarely come up for sale. It also includes a thick, glossy paper lyric poster and a Prowling Death merchandise insert. See pics for details. These pressings were issued with a clear plastic inner sleeve with Restless/Enigma ads printed on it, as this one does.
Condition of the sleeve is conservatively VG+ (some would call this NM but I am tough on grading) with only a tiny nick in the black on front, a couple small corner dings and a minor crease near the spine. The spine is legible and straight, no splits anywhere on any edges. The poster is mint with no holes, writing, rips, tears, stains or other imperfections. The merch insert is also near mint. The LP itself looks it was played once or twice with only a very few nearly invisible swirl lines from the sleeve. One small spindle mark on side 2. Otherwise this is an amazing rare record that is almost 35 years old. This album sells for well over $100 for an average copy... this is definitely not your average copy! Don't miss out on this one.
