Cover: Non-laminated gatefold cover printed and made by Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd. Just some very light ringwear on the front and a little discolouration, both of which are somewhat inevitable given the white cover. There is a sticker on the back, which appears to be a catalogue number correction; probably placed there by the printers (see photo). There are no creases, no edge-wear and no seam splits. Both openings are still quite crisp, with no signs of feathering. The spine shows very little signs of wear and, apart from a tiny corner bump, is still quite square with all text clear and legible. The only real flaw is a small sticker-tear on the front bottom-left corner, which is not immediately noticeable due to the white cover (see photo). All-in-all, a really nice sleeve for its age, but downgraded to EX- due to the sticker-tear.
Inner Sleeves: Original black paper poly-lined inner sleeves, with “PATENT Nos. 1125555 1072844” and “MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN” text in grey ink. A few light creases, but no tears, writing or seam splits.
Labels: Immaculate labels with no signs of spindle wear.
Vinyl: Under normal lighting, both records look near-mint. Under a halogen light, I can see a one or two very fine sleeve removal marks and one or two areas where the vinyl appears to have reacted with the polythene of the inner sleeves; however, these marks have no affect on playback whatsoever. Both records play near-mint throughout; no pops, ticks, skips or crackle - just clear distortion-free sound. These are records that have clearly not been played very often (and only once by me!).
Additional Info: All of the vinyl that I am selling is from my personal collection, and has been cleaned on a VPI HW 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. After cleaning, I keep all of my records in ‘Mobile Fidelity’ rice paper inner sleeves and store them with the records outside of the covers.SHIPPING COSTS & CONDITIONS: All shipping costs quoted are for this item alone.
