Description
Champion Jack Dupree - Blues From the Gutter LP (1958, Atlantic) Mono 1st Pressing, DG, VG+/VG+
Artist: Champion Jack Dupree
Album: Blues From the Gutter
Description: 1958 Mono 1st press on Atlantic Records. Black label with deep groove on both sides. Classic blues album. 11547/11548 in runoff.
Sleeve Condition: VG+, sleeve has great color, presents very well. No splits or tears or major ring wear. Some slight yellowing on all three sides, but it's minor. There is also a thin strip of residue along the open edge. Back is clean with just some light scuffing and a small strip of discoloration near the top. No major wear at all. Has a vintage rice paper inner sleeve that I believe is original to the album. This is a pretty solid VG+.
Vinyl: VG+/VG++, visually this very clean. There are no noticeable scuffs or scratches. There are a couple of minor imperfections if you hold it up in bright light, but that's being super picky. I have play tested the LP and it sounds great, music comes through clean and clear. No pops, skips, etc. Labels are both very clean with no spindle wear. No writing or fading. This has clearly been well-taken care of and there's very little sign that this has been played more than a couple of times. Just great condition overall. You'll be very pleased with this one. Don't miss grabbing it today!
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
