Description

A cracking album from an indie band that hailed from the Reading area. This was their second outing in 1993 and then they packed up and called it a day in 1994. A real shame - they were clearly a class act. But it never seemed to evolve/materialise into actual chart success. And finding BLOOD MUSIC on original 1st press from 1993 is hellishly difficult. I don't think it charted into the top 40 for starters. And even then - in 1993 - vinyl was very much on the way out. So, these copies are incredibly hard to find. And finding one that plays Ex+ throughout... well, we're talking very slight probabilities. So, it's on offer here to someone who understands that these guys were a bit 'under the radar' - but very well worth a listen. If someone doesn't want it - I will be only too pleased to keep it. Just bangin' out the 15minute Picnic - it sounds awesome!
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex+) Let's just qualify that for a moment. I don't give out a solid Ex+ that often. And very infrequently across two discs - but this copy is truly stellar. It has clearly only seen very very slight use [mirror surfaces]. Under close inspection I'm struggling to make out even one slight mark per side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback without reservation. Anyone familiar with this release will be only too aware of how fussy some segments of this release are. There's the final moments of PICNIC which are very reminiscent of PINK FLOYD c1969/1970. And most copies will not play this segment clean. But this copy is a total show-stopper... a once in a year shot at complete humdinger. Plays perfectly clean throughout the two discs. It is also worth mentioning the audio quality. If you are a total audio nut and love/appreciate the finest cuts and the sheer brilliant reproduction vinyl can offer when done properly - this would be of interest to you. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) A really nice looking cover. I have to say I think the cover artwork is superb - love it. Clean and flat front and rear without creasing or surface wear. Just a touch of slightest wear occasionally on the edges. A coupe of stress creases on the spine and a 1c.m. patch of wear on the top spine. Otherwise it is looking extremely fine with sharp openings. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inners (Ex) Very fragile but in excellent order. No problems. No rips.
