Very rare, out of print original Dedicated pressing of the final album from one of the cornerstones of the Shoegaze movement. Includes rare bonus track, the 15 minute epic Picnic. After garnering acclaim for their debut album, Whirlpool, Chapterhouse refused to be pigeonholed into the shoegze sound. The result was an experimental fusion of shogeaze guitar bliss & electronic rhythms & loops. Highly underrated upon its release, Blood Music has gone on to be revealed by fans of experimental UK Indie music. This album was about four years ahead of it's time, as by 1997, countless groups were experimenting with electronic sounds the way that Chapterhouse did on Blood Music. This album likely would have been critically acclaimed if released alongside albums from the latter '90's, like David Bowie's Earthling, U2's Pop, David Byrne's Feelings, and Prodigy's albums. Vinyl is in excellent condition, with only minor wear and tear on the spine and corners, due to it being 28 years old (if you're familiar with UK vinyl releases from the 90's, you know how thin & flimsy the sleeves were). Includes the singles We Are The Beautiful and She's A Vision, plus the classics On The Way To Fly, Greater Power, and Love Forever.
