Chapterhouse: Whirlpool LP

Original 1991 pressing of this indie shoegaze classic purchased by me at the time and looked after as part of my personal record collection ever since.

The sleeve is still in really nice condition for a 30 years old record, it has no seam splits and retains a fully readable spine. There is only very light handling and storage wear with a visible light crease on the top left of the outer sleeve. I’ve taken lots of photos of both the sleeve and the record so please take the time to scroll through them all to see the true condition and any of the highlighted imperfections. There are also no seam splits to the original printed inner sleeve, only some barely noticeable handling wear.

The record has a few light superficial marks on the vinyl noticeable only when scrutinised under a very bright LED light, but nothing here effects the play in any way, it plays through beautifully with absolutely no skipping, sticking or jumping. I have just cleaned it using a professional vacuum record cleaning machine with the award winning L’Art du Son cleaning fluid. It’s now completely dust and static free and in the best possible condition for the next owner to enjoy. I have just test played both sides all the way through and can confirm it sits perfectly flat on the deck and plays through beautifully on my set up (Project Debut Carbon deck fitted with an Ortefon 2M Blue stylus). There are no loud annoying clicks and pops, it plays through clean and quiet with barely a hint of surface noise only detectable on some of the run ins between tracks.

I will post this out to the new owner packaged properly so that no damage can come to it during transit and fully insured with a signed for Royal Mail service.
