Description

An original 1992 1st press of Whirlpool. Matrix A1/B1. The vinyl comes housed in the original cover with bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has clearly only seen light use. A touch of bag-rash marking right at the edge - but this is very superficial. Nothing serious that will impinge on the audio - guaranteed. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A cracking copy - just like the 'Blood Music' original we have on a separate listing. Plays close on perfect from start to finish. A super shoe-gaze classic from under the radar. The issue I could pick out was a skip/stumble early in 'Falling Down'. Easy to miss - it sounds more like the band plays a bum note. That's the only thing I can hold against it. Spin it....love it!
Cover (Vg+) Can't grade higher as there's sticker removal mark top right. It has been coloured in sympathetically. In all other respects this cover is superb. Lovely colour retention, flat surfaces, no creasing. Minimal edge wear and sharp openings. Spine is 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No issues. No splits.
