Description
Hello! I'm Jim Camp, owner/operator of the synaesthesia press. I'm a letterpress printer; I publish work by authors I find interesting; I make pictures; and, finally, I'm a bookseller. As far as selling books the synaesthesia press didn't publish, I've been collecting for 30+ years, and most of what I'm going to start offering here I've held for at least a couple of decades...some longer. A few since I began collecting.
It's time these titles found a new home. And the proceeds from the books that come out of my library goes towards the press: from studio rent (my Vandercook #219 is a beast!) to paying for materials and supplies, the book sales are the backbone to the press's business.
If you're a collector, you might score, and if you're a dealer, you might score something you can flip. I always try to describe the books as fairly and reasonably as possible, tending to be a little hard on the book (as opposed to selling something you may not be happy with). After all, condition is everything. That being said...good luck!
OFFERING: Charles Bukowski. Love & Fame & Death w/ I've Always Had Trouble with Money. Coventry, England: Beat Scene Magazine, May 1991. Folded sleeve, near fine in glassine bag; I played the disc once, but I'll call it "good" to be on the safe side.
This 7" single Flexi-Disc was included with Beat Scene Magazine #12. I used to see these floating around from time to time...not so much anymore.
Remember to come back regularly to check my listings! Don't forget to look over in my store more, good stuff! (I've got a lot of rare and usual books, Bukowski, Beats, little mags, modern firsts, etc.). Don't forget to follow/save me here (click the heart that says "Save this Seller" under my username). Oh...and one last thing: please like the synaesthesia press if you're over on Facebook -- and you can find me on social media (Twitter and IG) at JimCamp3.
THANKS!
