This is part of a fantastically well cared for collection - the original owner bought records and copied them to cassette, archived the records and only listened to the cassette copies. So many of these records may have only been played once or twice!! It is very difficult to find records in as superb condition as these!! Postage & Packing
Protective packaging is important, our packing includes:
- Removing the record from the sleeve to avoid seam splits
- Putting the record in a plastic sleeve to avoid sleeve wear
- Posting in special custom record mailers
- Cardboard stiffening is included to avoid bends
Grading
For vinyl we use the Rare Record Guide grading system detailed below:
MINT The LP or single is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT The LP or single shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The LP or single has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and an occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and contents without any major defects.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
