Charles Mingus (with Eric Dolphy, Ted Curson, Dannie Richmond, Jimmy Knepper, Roy Eldridge, &c) THE COMPLETE CANDID RECORDINGS OF CHARLES MINGUS Mosaic MR4-111, recorded 1960. 4-LP boxed edition with bookk. This is number 401 out of 7500 sets. Discs have probably been played once: some dust debris, but very quiet groove surface, save for a thump leading up to the talk intro to side II. Does not interfere with music. Jacket has a 4” split seam where the record edges have sliced partway in.

Here’s the twelfth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
