Description
This is an original first pressing of this double album by Charles Mingus, released in 1979. It is a white-label promotional copy that has been in my personal collection for nearly 40 years and I know it to be unplayed as it was my back-up copy. The matrix numbers are 1A/1A/1A/1B.
The album has always been carefully handled and meticulously cared for. The vinyl is easily graded as near-mint and the gatefold jacket shows only minimal signs of edge or shelf wear. Because the cover is predominantly white, there is some mild visible ring wear. There is a gold promotional stamp on the back cover.
